Police seized huge quantity of fake medicines worth lakhs of rupees in Machhuatoli locality under Kadamukan police station area here today. 

Police said here that huge quantity of fake medicines was seized from a house near drug shop on the specific intelligence input. Sources said that outlaws involved in the illegal trade of fake medicines made good their escape after they got an inkling of a police raid. Police said fake medicines sachets bearing names of various drug companies were recovered from the spot.A massive manhunt is on to nab the accused, sources added.
