A 28-year old post-graduate medical student of a private college near Puducherry was on August 29 found dead in his rented house, police said.

Parivendan, a third year student, was found lying unconscious in his bed in the house and police, alerted by neighbours, rushed him to the medical college hospital, where doctors said he had already died. The cause of the death was under investigation, police said. The medico belonged to Tiruchengode in Namakkal district of neighbouring Tamil Nadu.
