The situation of the health services remained almost same in different government hospitals though the Health Minister and the Chief Minister got busy into making the condition patient friendly. It got revealed recently that a serious patient suffered for hours even for the emergency services in the Dhalai district hospital. The patient identified as Rabenjoy Mog alleged that, "My family members took me to the district hospital as I was feeling acute pain in stomach and uneasiness. But we found no body in the emergency unit at around 10 pm. We waited for almost an hour and then the doctor arrived."
Many local people alleged that, such things often used to happen in the district hospital. One inhabitant of the locality adjacent to the hospital identified as Parendra Tripura alleged that, "The negligence of the doctors and staffs are very common matter here. We are fed up with the situation. But the Health Minister and the Chief Minister are busy in rectifying the Agartala Medical College and Hospital (AGMC) only. Then, who will look at us?" Now, when the government and its administration would become keen about the betterment of districts and subdivisions remained the matter to be seen.
