Patient among 3 killed as ambulance hits tractor-trolley in MP

Three people, including a patient, were killed and four others injured on October 9 when an ambulance in which they were travelling rammed into a tractor- trolley here in Madhya Pradesh, police said.
The ambulance was heading from Sabalgarh town here to Gwalior when it hit the tractor-trolley parked on a roadside near Mukunda village on Morena-Shivpuri road, sub-divisional officer of police Sudhir Kushwaha said. The deceased were identified as a 47-year old man, who was being taken to hospital, his 70-year old mother, and the ambulance driver, he said.
Four other family members of the patient also received injuries in the mishap, Kushwaha said. The man had got burnt during some work at his home and was referred by doctors to a hospital at Gwalior for treatment, he said. A case has been registered in connection with the incident, he added.
