Orthopaedic surgeons to hold conference in Patna from Apr 7

A 2-day conference held on April 7 will bring close to 700 orthopedic surgeons from across the country to upgrade their knowledge and skills in trauma management.
Global Orthopaedic Forum (GOFCON) will organise a two day conference of orthopaedic surgeons from across the country here from April 7. GOFCON organising chairman Padmashree Dr RN Singh and organising secretary Dr Amulya Kumar Singh told newspersons here today that around 700 orthopaedic surgeons from different parts of the country would attend the conference to be organised under the aegis of Bihar Orthopaedic Association.
They said that the conference was intended at training orthopaedic surgeons from the peripheral districts and to upgrade their knowledge and skills as per the currently accepted concepts in trauma management worldwide. Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey will be chief guest of the inaugural function. Former president of Central Zone Orthopaedic Association Dr VS Singh will inaugurate the function.
Founder of Super 30 Anand Kumar will be the guest of honour. Experts will interact with general public on April 8 to create awareness among them about bone and joint problems.
