One more succumbs to swine flu at Tanda college; toll at 12 since Jan 1

With the death of one more swine flu patient at Dr. Rajinder Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda on February 19, the number of deaths due to swine flu at the hospital has touched twelve since January 1.
Dr Bhanu Awasthi, Principal Dr Rajinder Prasad Govt. Medical College Tanda told UNI on February 19 evening that a male patient from district hospital Una was referred here on February 16 and since then he was under treatment in the isolation ward of the hospital. He said he died on February 19 and with the number of deaths due to swine flu in DRPG Medical college Tanda has touched twelve since January 1, 2019. He said so far 79 patients have tested positive for swine flu in this college and out of them 12 have died, 2 were under treatment and rest have been discharged.
