OAS body demands action against VSSIMSAR Director

The Administrative Officers Association of Odisha has demanded legal action be taken against the Director of VSSIMAR for locking an administrative officer in his room without any reason.
The Odisha Administrative Officers Association of Sambalpur District on 30 March demanded action against the Vir Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Science and Research (VSSIMSAR) Director Aswini Pujari for illegally locking the office room of the Administrative officer without any justified reason. Association members led by its president ADM Trilochan Majhi in a memorandum to the RDC (Northern Division) alleged that Dr Pujari is running a parallel administration in the Medical College and Hospital much to the irritation of most of the staff members of the institute.
They said three days back, when the director was visiting the hospital, he locked up the room of the administrative officer. When he found the officer not present in his office room. But the administrative officer clarified that his office hour is from 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs unlike the duty hours of the medical staff from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs. The OAS association also apprised the matter to the district collector Samarth Verma.
