Nagaland Health Dept. notifies cashless treatment of polling persons

The Nagaland Department of Health & Family Welfare has notified that all public health facilities of the Department are empanelled for providing cashless treatment to Polling Personnel and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
According to an official release today said the personnel working in public health facilities are directed to make arrangement for providing cashless treatment to the polling personnel during the poll and personnel of CAPF from the time they are inducted into the State for election duties till they are released from Election Duty and to ensure provision of good quality treatment as well as cater to any kind of Medical Emergencies.
In case of emergency ambulance requirement, all concerned are to call the toll free number 102. For requirement of Air Ambulance and Helicopters for evacuation, anyone can contact the State Nodal Officer Wabang Jamir, IGP (RANGE) through respective Superintendent of Police of the districts. All concerned are therefore, directed to ensure strict compliance of this Order in letter and spirit in their respective jurisdictions. For issues arising out of any dereliction of duty, the concerned staff shall be held responsible, the release said.
