Mumbai surgeons successfully reattach man's severed foot after accident

Surgeons from Mumbai's RN Cooper Hospital have successfully reattached a 27-year old carpenter's severed foot that was hanging by a flap of skin.
The saw had cut through the bones, nerves, blood vessels, and tendons. Surgeons spent 6 hours trying to stabilise the bones, reattach vessels and restore blood supply to the foot. The man has now regained blood supply in is his foot and has undergone another surgery to repair the nerves and graft skin.
