A female doctor committed suicide in the early hours of November 27, by jumping off the eighth floor of the building she resided in Mumbai's Kalyan.

The doctor has been identified as Prajakta Kulkarni. She lived with her husband and in-laws at Mahavir Heights, a high-rise in Kalyan. She committed suicide at 7.15 am, after which she was rushed to the hospital by her family. However, she had suffered multiple injuries and was declared dead. Police have filed a case of accidental death for now.
