MoU for minors’ cardiac therapy

With the objective of providing free treatment to children with cardiac complications, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was inked on 31st July at Mantralaya between the National Health Mission (NHM) and the Prashanthi Medical Services and Research Foundation in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, it was officially learnt.
As per the agreement; 1,000 young ones would benefit annually. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “My dispensation is committed towards therapy of such sons and daughters. With voluntary organisations becoming associated with this endeavour, we shall emerge further successful.” Camps would be conducted under the Child Heart Treatment Scheme for those up to 18 years of age. The MoU was signed by NHM Director Chhavi Bhardwaj and the Foundation’s Managing Trustee Manoj Bhimani.
