MLA announces free medical aid to kidney patients

Khairatabad MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy has announced to provide medical aid including medicines and dialysis on free of cost for kidney patients in his Assembly Constituency.
He said that the new initiative of medical aid to kidney patients has been taken up after a tie up with Jain Samaj, which is running five ‘Bhagwan Mahavir Dialysis Centres’ in the city. White ration card and residing in Khairatabad Assembly Constituency is mandatory for all the schemes, he said and appealed to the people to utilize this opportunity.
Talking to newsmen on July 18, Mr Reddy, the founder of NEMI Foundation said that the Foundation has been taken up several welfare programmes in his constituency including ‘Pelli Kanuka’, Netra Jyothi. Under Netra Jyothi scheme, Mr Reddy said that Nemi Foundation in association with Corporate Hospitals conducted free eye-checkup for 200 people. Of them 12 underwent operations. Some of them had been provided spectacles, he added. The MLA said that the Foundation has also decided to construct 200 temples in the constituency. Of them, two were completed and 40 temples are under construction, he said.
