Missing drugs addict found dead in a bathroom of civil hospital in Phillaur

A drug addict youth identified as Sukhpreet Singh Alias Raja of village Dallewal who was missing in mysterious circumstances since May 30 was found dead in a bath room of Civil Hospital in Phillaur on June 1 morning.


Senior Medical Officer Dr Jatinderjit Singh while confirming the incident told UNI here on Saturday that the deceased was under treatment for drugs addiction since March end. The police have registered case and sent the body for post-mortem to find out the cause of death. On the other hand the police described “Heat Stroke” as the cause of death. However, the truth could be revealed after autopsy report.
