A 21-year-old final year student of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) was found dead amid the shrubs behind the library within jurisdiction of Ajani Police Station on May 26, sources said.

The deceased, a native of Bhandara, was found to have consumed poison to end his life. However, what triggered the medico to take such extreme step is still unclear but sources have said that he was under depression. There was no suicide note found. His sister too is a student of GMCH. Further investigation is underway, sources added.
