A medical student committed suicide by hanging himself in hostel room here on March 19.

Superintendent of police (city) Vineet Bhatnagar on March 19 said 22-years-old paramedical student Sachin committed suicide by hanging self in college hostel room on March 19. He was studying here from past one and a half years. Mr Bhatnagar said reason behind extreme step of medical student is yet to be known. The probe was underway, he added.
