A massive vaccination campaign against measles. a major childhood killer disease and rubella, an infection responsible for birth defects, was launched all over Telangana, today. 

State Health Minister Laxma Reddy, who launched the vaccination campaign in the city at Raj Bhavan school. said that efforts were being made to make the campaign as successful as polio drops programme. He said more than 90 lakh children below 15 years of age would be administered the vaccination at all government hospitals and primary health centres.
