A duty doctor at Royd nursing home in South Kolkata has complained of assault and harassment by the relatives of his 18-year old patient.

Even the doctor lodged a complaint at the police station, the authorities of the nursing home where the attack happened, have called it a minor altercation. Police officers mentioned that they would be checking CCTV video recordings of the attack to identify the people involved. The patient has been shifted to another hospital.
