KIMS and BASS organises 3-day conference in neurovascular disorders

Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS, Hospitals) in association with Brain and Spine Society (BASS) organized a first of its kind, three-day conference pertaining mainly to the diagnostic imaging and interventions in the management of neurovascular disorders, KIMS said in a statement.
This conference was organised as an update that would cover the entire spectrum of Neuroimaging and Interventional Techniques in the management of Neurovascular disorder, Eminent National and International faculty were looped in to discuss the current and latest techniques in a practical approach.
Some of the topics covered in the conference were - Endovascular Management of Cerebral Aneurysms and Vascular Malformations, Flow diverters - DOs and DONTs, New tools and techniques in Endovascular Management, Tips and tricks in interpretation of Cerebral CT Angiogram and DSA, New tools and techniques in Endovascular Management, Advances in Neurovascular Imaging - Additional useful applications, among many others.
KIMS Hospitals Chief Radiologist and Conference Organising Chairman G Ananta Ram, said ''the primary objective of this conference was to bring together all the physicians with passion on neuroimaging and intervention under one roof to share their knowledge with each other. The first day of conference was the pre-conference workshop, aimed at the Residents which focused on hardware and imaging in the Cath lab pertaining to neurovascular intervention and best way to acquire images on MRI in less time at the console''.
The other two- days covered a wide range of topics in neurovascular imaging by various eminent national and international speakers. Live webinars by international speakers were conducted, he added.
