Junior doctors suspended for thrashing patients in Jhansi medical college

After a video of junior doctors thrashing patients went viral, Jhansi Medical college administration has suspended two doctors on charges of medical negligence for 15 days.
In the video junior doctors thrashed a patients’ attender and abused the on bed patient when they accused of negligence in treatment. Video went viral and hospital administration was asked to take actions against them. Chief medical superintendent Harishchandra Arya said that matter will be investigated and actions would be taken against culprits. Following that two junior doctors were suspended for 15 days when they were found guilty of beating patients and his relatives. Mr Arya said that both accused were from surgery department and head of department has suspended both of them.
In a reply to a question Mr Arya said that stringent actions would be taken against those who misbehave with the patients of their relatives. Earlier, college was in the news when doctors had put detached leg of patient under his head as pillow. Frequents incidents point that behaviour of medical staff and doctors was not so empathised with the patients.
