Students of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) headed by the Social Service Committee organised a medical camp here today, as part of their annual intercollegiate fest 'Spandan'. 

According to an official statement, the medical camp mainly for old age people was conducted with screening stations for Diabetes, Hypertension and Obesity alongside consultation by the top doctors from JIPMER, Puducherry. A Blood Donation Camp was also organised by the Social Service Committee along with the event.The students will organise an eye testing camp at the Don Bosco Orphanage for Boys next week, all while JIPMER gearing up for one of the biggest inter-medico events of the country, the statement said.
