Jharkhand CM instructs to separate task management in all big government hospitals

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on August 21 said that the task of management in all the big government hospitals should be separated and on the likes of RIMS in other two medical colleges and Sadar Hospitals the work of the management and the doctors should be made separate.
Reviewing the progress of the works being executed in the state under National Health Mission, he instructed the officials of the health department to make sure that doctors will be only confined to the task of treating the patients while for running the administration separate hiring should be made as not only this will help to improve the health care facilities in the hospitals but also will reduce the burden on the doctors.
Mr Das also suggested to fulfill the blood requirement, a state level blood donation camp should be organized in the state. He asked the officials to keep the health care sector in the top list in the aspirational districts of the state and among these special focus should be accorded on the six most backward districts.
He also asked the officials to increase the doctors handling children and women cases. During the meeting, he directed to overcome the lack of doctors in the state campus placement should be held in the medical colleges to hire the doctors and appoint Ayush doctors at the panchayat level.
The Chief Minister asked to open blood banks in seven districts of the state which so far do not have any kind of blood bank and said organizations which carry out cremation of unclaimed dead bodies will be given an incentive of Rs 1,000 per body. Those present on the occasion included health minister Ramchandra Chandravanshi, chief secretary Sudhir Tripathi, development commissioner D K Tiwari, principal secretary health Nidhi Khare and others.
