The UP state government has removed the principal of Jhansi Medical College in connection to the medical malpractice and negligence case last week, that involved using a patient's severed leg as a pillow to prop him up.

Taking a serious note on inhuman act of making pillow of separated leg of patient in Jhansi Medical college, Yogi Adityanath government has removed the principal of college Dr Sadhana Kaushik from post and Dr Gireesh Juneja will replace her. Earlier, Medical college administration had suspended two doctors and two nurses in connection with that matter, following that government has removed principal also. Meerut cardiologist Dr Gireesh Kumar Juneja will be new principal of the college.

Ghanshyam, resident of Itayal village lost his leg in a road accident few days back. When he reached medical college here for treatment, attendants there placed his separated leg under his head as pillow. Someone clicked that incident and made it viral on social media following which administration came into action and suspended concerned officials.
