Interactive session on 'Tobacco use and health effects' held by JIPMER

The 69th interactive session of the Jipmer Health Education Initiative” on “Tobacco use and health effects-prevention and management” was held at Jipmer on May 22.
According to a Jipmer release, as many as 300 persons including students from various colleges, Anganwadi workers, Jipmer staff and public participated in the session. The programme was focused on Health effects of tobacco use, tobacco addiction and its management. It was telecasted live to all Medical Colleges in South India under the National Medical College Network (NMCN) Project through JIPMER Regional Resource Centre.
