Indian scientist's research could help with cure of Zika

Indian scientist, Dr. Rajnish Giri from IIT, Himachal Pradesh along with his team have successfully identified certain region of the Zika virus' protein responsible for human-virus interaction.
Dr. Giri's team has studied the regions of the Zika virus responsible for its attachment with a human host. They used molecular recognition feature to identify these regions in the protein of the virus. The study has been published in the Journal of Molecular Biology. The doctor has been researching on the Zika virus at the Indian Institue of Technology, Mandi, HP and was assisted by Vladimir Uversky from University of South Florida and Pushpendra Mani Mishra, another research scholar.
