Himachal Pradesh to recruit 200 doctors
IANS Jul 10, 2018
The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet on July 9 decided to fill 200 posts of MBBS doctors on a regular basis through the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.
It also decided to recruit 714 staff nurses in the Health and Family Welfare Department on contract through the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission. Both the decisions will go a long way to cope with the shortage of doctors and staff nurses in the state, an official statement said. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur presided over the Cabinet meeting. The Cabinet gave its nod to start tele-medicine services in remote Pangi areas in Chamba district through Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd.
