UNI Aug 16, 2017
Health Minister KK Shailaja today refuted the allegations that the State Government had delayed the allotment of MBBS seats or fixing fees in the Self finance Medical colleges in the state.
She said the allegations of the opposition were baseless. However, she said the Supreme Court verdict in this regard was unfortunate. She said that the Self Finance colleges that approached the court created confusion among the students. She also said the case will come before the Kerala High Court on August 21 and the wait is on for a favourable pronouncement for fixing the fees before the second phase allotment during August 18 to 24.
Talking to media persons here on the sidelines of a function, the Minister said that there was no deferment in this regard. "The main reason for the confusion in fees fixation has happened due to the intervention of Supreme Court," she added.
