Haryana notifies procedure for admission to BAMS, BHMS in private institutions

Haryana government has notified the procedure for admissions to BAMS and BHMS in private ayurveda and homeopathy educational institutions including those under Private Universities for academic session 2017-18.
Stating this here on Tuesday, a spokesman of Medical Education and Research department said that as per the eligibility criteria for admission to BAMS course, the candidate should have passed XII with science or any other equivalent examination recognised by state government concerned and Education Board provided that the candidate pass the examination with 50 per cent aggregate marks in the subjects of physics, chemistry and biology. In case the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes or any other categories notified by the government, the marks, obtained in physics, chemistry and biology taken together in qualifying examination should be 40 per cent instead of 50 per cent, he added.
He said that for BHMS course, the candidate should have passed XII with science or any other equivalent examination recognized by concerned state government and Education Board with physics, chemistry and biology. The fee structure of BAMS course running under Baba Mast Nath University, Asthal Bohar, Rohtak is Rs five lakh per annum. He said that the fee structure of BAMS course running under SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram is Rs 4.30 lakh per annum.
