Doctors shall henceforward treat patients in out-patient departments from 0900-1600 hrs at all infirmaries under Madhya Pradesh’s Public Health and Family Welfare Department; registration in OPDs will not be closed by 1530 hrs and pathology laboratories shall also remain open from 0900-1600 hrs, an order issued by the Department on June 1 said.

The emergency OPD will remain open round the clock at the district and civil hospitals. All specialists and physicians shall go on rounds in wards from 0900-1100 hrs. Any patient in the Emergency area, even if he or she has a minor ailment / symptom, will not be refused diagnosis and treatment.
