Goa Minister flags off 108 ambulance service

The Minister for Art and Culture, Govind Gaude flagged off 108 Ambulance service for the people of Khandola and its surrounding areas at a function held at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Betki Khandola in Priol in South Goa on July 18.
Dr Sanjeev Dalvi, Director of Directorate of Health Services, Dr Jose D’sa, Deputy Director (Public Health), Dr Ugam Tari, Acting Health Officer, (PHC) Betki-Khandola, Dilip Naik, Sarpanch of Khandola Panchayat and other Panch members were present on the occasion.
After flagging off, the minister along with the Director and Deputy Director inspected the emergency and safety measures in the ambulance.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Mr Gaude expressed his happiness over the launch of 108 ambulance service from Primary Health Centre Betki Khandola in Priol and said this was the most advanced ambulance provided to the people which would provide service round the clock. He hoped that the endeavour of the government would provide better health care facilities to the people and the service would benefit the people immensely.
