Free dinner for attendants of patients at Tanda Medical College

Dhenum Ashrya Sadnam, a social organization has started a philanthropic move of serving free dinner to the attendants of the patients under treatment in 828 bedded Tanda Medical College Hospital.
Ajey Sehgal, trustee of Dhenum Ashrya Sadnam told UNI that the dinner was served on Tuesdays and now it would be bi-weekly program. He said that from next month dinner will be served to all the attendants of the patients on daily basis.
He said that the college authorities have not only supported the organization but have inspired too for carrying out the mission. He said that hundreds of the attendants had been facing difficulty in having food at the hospital that prompted them to start with this program. He said that more social organizations have come forward for carrying out the program on daily basis from next month jointly.
Dr. Bhanu Awasthi, Principal Tanda Medical College told UNI that patients get their meals from the hospital but the organization has come forward for the help of the attendants of the patients that was laudable.
Vinod Aggrawal, President Seva Bharti, said that Seva Bharti was serving morning tea with snacks to the attendants of the patients in the morning at Tanda Medical College on regular basis for the last one year. Tanda Medical College Caters to the needs of the people of Kangra, Chamba, Hamirpur and Una districts besides the nearby of Punjab bordering Himachal Pradesh.
