Five swine flu patient hospitalised at IGMC: SrMO

Senior Medical Officer of IGMC Dr. Janak Raj on February 3 confirmed that five more patients have been admitted at Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital here and tested positive for swine flu.
With this number of patients of swine flu crossed 100 in the state as till Feb 2 state recorded 95 swine flu cases. He also said that total 21 H1N1 patients are admitted in hospital and all are stable. With this IGMC and Tanda Medical College recorded 32 each cases, 11 cases in Bilaspur, eight in Mandi, five in Chamba, four in Hamirpur, three in Solan, two in Una and one patient was resident of Haryana.
So far the number causality gone to 14 in the state as five death has been occurred in Kangra, three in Mandi, two each in Una and Hamirpur and one each in Shimla and Bilaspur.
State government has issued advisory to the people to not take the any flu casually and report in the Hospital immediately, if they have symptoms of swine flu . Most of patients are coming in contact with the patients and if they did not report in time the outbreak could be proved fatal. The morbidity further increase if patients are of less than five and more that 65 age group.
