Fake Doctor held for running clinic in Hyderabad city

The City police has arrested a fake doctor who is running a 'Joti Clinic' in the city and seized fake Ayurveda medicines.
The City police has arrested a fake doctor who is running a 'Joti Clinic' in the city and seized fake Ayurveda medicines. On credible information, the Commissioners Task Force (Central Zone Team) apprehended Gopash Bhadra alias Dr G Biswas, who is giving treatment for skin disease and other diseases like Piles, Fistula and Fissure at his clinic located at Gandhinagar, said P Radha Krishna Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner's Task Force in a release here on Thursday.
Police seized Fake Ayurvedic Medicines, Printed Pamphlets, Stethoscope from the possession of 39-year-old Gopash, native of West Bengal. The accused Gopash studied up to 10th class at his native place and then he did various works in Kolkata. In 2011, he went to Chennai and joined as Assistant under various B.A.M.S Doctors. As such he gained some knowledge about treatment for Piles, Fistula and Fissurem and hatched a plan to open a clinic on his own at Hyderabad.
Six months ago, he changed his name as Dr. Biswas B.A.M.S and started the clinic by displaying Doctor names as Dr Biswas BAMS and Dr. Anita Biswas HMCS and posing as Ayurvedic Doctor without any qualifications. He is preparing fake Ayurvedic medicine by using Ghee, Hair Gels, Talcum powders, Neem leaves, Coconut oil. The accused was handed over to Musheerabad Police station for further investigation.
