The city police today busted a fake Ayurvedic treatment racket by arresting 19 people. 

Police seized net cash of 2.01 lakh, 24 cell phones, fake Ayurvedic medicine, 11 two-wheelers from their possession. On credible information, Commissioner’s Task Force conducted raid at Rahamath Nagar, Yousufguda, Hyderabad and apprehended 19 cheaters when they were trying to sell the fake Ayurvedic medicines, police said. The accused along with seized material was being handed over to the concerned police stations of Saifabad, Sultan Bazar, Amberpet and SR Nagar for further investigation, police added.
