ARC International Fertility and Research  Centre Managing Director Dr Lakshmanan Saravanan on Friday entered into the Asia Book of Records and Guinness book of records as his video speech on fertility in the Youtube reached two crore viewers in 234 countries.

Former Chief Election Commissioner T S Krishnamurthy presented Asia Book of Records certificate to Dr Lakshmanan Saravanan and Director Dr Mahalakshmi Saravanan. Mr Krishnamurthy also launched the 'Being a Parent' (pregnancy, birth and baby) initiative organised by ARC International Fertility and Research Centre and Adding Smiles. 

This initiative would be conducted in 15 cities in 2018.In his 45-minute Youtube speech video, Dr Lakshmanan Saravanan spoke about male fertility, their health, treatment and awareness.The video was viewed by more than two crore people in 234 countries. This is a Guinness record and has also entered the Asia Book of Records.

The Guinness record certificate was expected to be issued in the next couple of days.The hospital offers treatment for In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Infertility Evaluation/Treatment, ART Consultant,Clinical Embryologist, Sperm Donor Program, Embryo Donor Program and Egg Donor programmes. With headquarters in Chennai, the hospital has three centres in the city and at Vellore, Tiruchi, Tirunelveli, Coimbatore and Madurai.
