Ensure availability of medicines in rural health centres: Jharkhand CM

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today asked officials to ensure availability of medicines in health centres, particularly in rural areas.
The chief minister issued the order at a meeting of ministers and officials of respective departments on the works to be done as per this fiscal's expenditure and also in the next budget of the state, an official release said. Medicines should be available in health centres in all the time round the year, it said. Das said that residential schools on the pattern of Netarhat would come up in Dumka, Chaibasa and Ranchi. Altogether 25 cold storages would be opened in the next fiscal to benefit the farmers, Das said. The chief minister also asked to prepare new plans for floriculture in Deoghar, Ranchi, Simdega and their nearby areas.
