Eight dengue cases confirmed in Karnataka

As many as 8 cases of dengue have been confirmed in Yadgir district, Karnataka so far in this month and increase in number is causing concern among the public.



 

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Habiba Usaman Patal 18 dengue cases were reported between January and August this year in the City and a report was already submitted to the District administration in this connection and increase in Malaria cases in the City.

Mr Patal said that he had visited the village and directed the medical staff to provide necessary treatment to the patients even at their house , he also conformed the death of woman for dengue last week in the city. District Vector Borne disease Control Officer Suryaprakesh Kandakur said that 16 dengue cases were reported in 2014, 10 cases during 2015 , 33 cases in 2016 and 18 cases in 2017.
