Doctor thrashed by patient's kin at Mumbai hospital

A doctor at Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital at Kandivali, Mumbai was assaulted by a patient's family members on December 11 after allegedly delaying treatment.
The main accused in the case had accompanied the patient, a paralytic after noticing a rise in her blood pressure. Doctors mentioned that they had admitted the patient and begun her treatment but the family members denied such claims. At 4.45 pm on December 11, the accused got into an argument with the doctor and assaulted him. He has been booked under section 353 of the IPC.
