Dialysis, MRI centres esblished in 14 hospitals in Haryana:Vij

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Sunday said dialysis and MRI centres are being established in 14 hospitals of the state.
The Cath lab in Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantt would soon start functioning in which patients belonging to BPL families would get stent facilities free of cost. For other categories of patients , the stent which costs about Rs two to 2.5-lakh, would be implanted in civil hospital in Rs 45,000 only.
Mr Vij, who was speaking after launching the Intensified Indradhanush Mission in Ambala Cantonment today, said that efforts were being made to include all hospitals of the state in health services as per NABH standards norms and so far these standards have been adopted by about 25 hospitals including those in Ambala, Faridabad and Panchkula, and community health centres and primary health centres. He said that with efforts of the present State Government, the faith of people has strengthened towards health services being provided in government hospitals and there has been an increase of 20 per cent in OPD during last three years
