Nine packet of detonators have been recovered from the house of Giridih civil surgeon located on Makatpur-Barganda road under town police station area in the district on August 9 night.

Giridih SP Surendra Kumar Jha said following a secret tip off a raid was conducted at the house during which the detonator was  recovered. He said that prima facie it appears that some one has deliberately put the detonator in the house of the doctor to get him rapped in a false case.The SP said the entire matter is being investigated and soon the real culprit would be nabbed. Meanwhile, police said at the time of the raid civil surgeon Dr Ram Rekha Prasad was not present in his home. The raid at the house was conducted by SDM Vijaya Jhadav during which ASP Deepak Kumar was also present.
