The Indian Express Oct 31, 2018
After being denied admission at two civic hospitals and being referred to a third one in Central Mumbai while she was in labour, a 26-year old woman finally gave birth in the local train.
Her husband alleged on October 29 that she was denied treatment at two civic hospitals in the city and finally delivered the baby in a train compartment while they were on the way to Nair Hospital in Central Mumbai. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to set up an investigation into the inappropriate and unethical behaviour of the hospital staff of the two hospitals.
