A 30-yera old patient who was undergoing treatment at SCB hospital since June 22 for dengue died on June 24, said hospital emergency officer Dr B N Moharana.

The patient was admitted in a very critical condition and immediately put into medicine ICU. His condition, however, never improved during the course of treatment and he succumbed to the vector-borne disease, the attending doctors said.
