Dengue cases swell up to 119 in HP, govt claims to having control its outbreak

Himachal Pradesh Government has claimed that it has brought control on the outbreak of Dengue as most of patients recovered after the treatment and only 12 patients are under medical observation however the number of Dengue cases wellled up to 119 in the state till July 8.
This was stated by the Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar after visiting the affected areas in Bilaspur and Ghumerwin sub division today. He said that out of 119 cases were recorded in the district out of which 76 have been discharged after recovery from the disease while 12 are under medical examination in the Hospital.
He claimed that swift action taken by the state and Central Medical Research Instituted helped to check the outbreak as no patients was refereed to IGMC , Tanda Medical College and PGI who found positive with the Dengue after medical examination. He urged the local resident to no be panic after the outbreak as state and centre government has taken sufficient measure to control over the outbreak.
Minister said that Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur is keeping tab in the outbreak himself and review the government response to it after providing and ascertaining all possible measures to help its victim. Meanwhile a team of physicians belonged to union Health Ministry was making training and protocol visit to outbreak infested areas to learn from this exercised done by the district administration without losing a single life.
Health Minister along with local MLA Subash Thakur and district administration visited the Diyara Sector 8,9 and 10 near the Govind Sagar Dam from where most of cases of Dengue pouring in. During the visit minister also meet with hospitalized patients and know about their conditions. The district recorded first case of Dengue on May 29 which suddenly increased with time and new cases were stilling coming in.
