Delhi's air pollution adding to patients' woes

Times of India Nov 01, 2018

Doctors in Delhi have mentioned that the toxic air in Delhi is adding to more health risks in elderly patients as well as children.

This comes after the death of 75-year old man last week who had a joint replacement surgery, but later developed a severe case of bronchitis due to the bad air. He was put on ventilator after developing an infection, but eventually succumbed later. Doctors have mentioned that Delhi's air is causing major trouble for patients who are developing respiratory infections and if no steps are taken to address the current pollution, it could lead to many fatalities.
