Medical services in the national capital are expected to take a hit on December 19, as all government hospital doctors are set to go on strike over the lack of implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission. 

Resident doctors at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital, and Guru Tegh Bahadur (GTB) Hospital will not be attending OPDs and will only be handling emergency cases on December 19. The doctors have mentioned that despite making repeated requests, the Seventh Pay Commission has still yet to be implemented for doctors.
