Delhi begins process to provide health cards

The Delhi government on Friday initiated a process to provide health cards to all the city's residents for free medical services.


The city government had invited Expression of Interest (EoI) for making Aam Aadmi Health Card for approximately 1.8 crore residents. "The holder of the same (health card) shall be entitled for free services in the healthcare institutions, either owned or run by Government of Delhi or on society mode," said an official statement. It added that voter ID of Delhi is mandatory for availing health card for any person aged above 18 years and Aadhar number is mandatory for anyone above one year.
