Cancer patient commits suicide

A cancer patient allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a tree at Lingareddippalayam near Puducherry.
According to police a 46-year-old liquor addict complained of stomach pain and was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He did not want to get admitted in hospital drank more liquor whenever he felt stomach pain. Unable to bear the pain, the man committed suicide by hanging from a tree behind the Lingareddippalayam cooperative sugar mill on 23rd July evening. Katterikuppam police has registered a case.
