Doctors at Ara’s Sadar Hospital continued their strike on November 22 to protest Bhojpur District Magistrate's decision of introducing attendance system over video conferencing and an alleged assault by the DM's security personnel.

Health services in the town have suffered as a result of this. Doctors mentioned that they are fine with the biometric attendance system but the new conferencing system seems like a misuse of authority by the DM. IMA has mentioned that the strike will continue till the DM is transferred.
