Asia level Conference at Jipmer from Oct 27

In connection with the “Golden Jubilee of Medical Records and Execution in India”, Jipmer and Health Information Management Association (HIMA) India is conducting a two-day Asia level conference “JIPMER HIMA ASIA Conference-2017” from October 27. 

 

 

 

 

 

A Jipmer release said here today that its Director Dr S C Parija will inaugurate the conference. The main aim and objective of the conference is to Share Knowledge about ‘One patient, One number and One record from birth to death’ to analyse innovations of the Theme eHealth record from birth to death globally, to share implementation strategies of EMR/HER, to explore changes as health care change into digital era and to bring leading professionals in healthcare industry (Scientists, Researchers, Scholars, Students) from different Organizations, Hospitals, Universities, Institutions together,among other things. 


More than 30 scientific /technical innovative practical topics on Health Information Management (HIM), Information Technology is being presented and National and International renowned speakers with vast experience in HIM, IT and allied fields were participating and presenting papers in the conference. This includes future of HIM Education, HIM Professional to meet the challenges of Revolutionized Healthcare System, 21st Century Requirements for HIM Professionals, HIM Role in Quality and Patient Safety, Develop Comprehensive Medical Audit System, Qualitative Care Review, Proper Documentation of good medical record keeping an essential part of practice care etc. 


According to Dr.Parija, there will be three group Discussions on Medical Record Documentation (including what makes a good record; how it is done!), Discussion on Electronic Health Records (including implementation advantages & challenges. At the end of two days programme, there is a Panel Discussion where important HIM issues will be discussed and recommendation are made to improve further the HIM Field for better service to healthcare delivery system
