Apollo Tyres flags off Mobile Medical Unit for health check of truckers in Delhi, TN

Apollo Tyres on Wednesday inaugurated its Mobile Medical Unit, christened ‘Apollo Tyres Healthcare Express’ , for the health check of truckers and the allied population in New Delhi and Tamil Nadu.
One of the unit was flagged off by Company Chairman Onkar S Kanwar and All India Motor Transport Congress Chairman Kultaran Singh Atwal. The mobile medical unit will provide basic health check services, in addition to the treatment of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI), Vision Screening and providing spectacles at subsidised cost, blood group and blood sugar tests and screening for HIV.
The first Apollo Tyres Healthcare Express, based out of Delhi, would have a doctor, pharmacist, lab technician and three outreach workers, and will cover various entry-exit routes of Delhi NCR where there was a trucking halt. The second unit would operate from Namakkal in Tamil Nadu.
