Stasis, the Indo-US healthcare technology company headquartered in Bengaluru, was awarded the first position at the Health Datathon competition held at the Andhra Pradesh Health Festival, 2018 for showcasing a predictive model for optimal allocation of resources and inventory for the Mobile Medical Unit Project initiated by the AP govt.

Stasis was chosen from a pool of 30 companies participating in the Health Datathon Competition. Leading healthcare technology enterprises across India took part in the three-day competition to showcase ideas and innovations in tackling problems faced by Indian healthcare. The Health Datathon participants had to identify problems from the valuable data sets shared by CERNER (global HIS company) and find innovative ideas to provide comprehensive solutions to enable better healthcare facilities for people in the region. The Data sets shared were from real life problems faced by the The 'Aarogya Ratham Project' (Mobile Medical Unit- MMU) initiated by Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation Limited (APTransco) .

Stasis team was felicitated by Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He also inaugurated the e-Sub Centre, RFID, Mukhyamantri Bala Suraksha Yojana, and e-Health magazine at the Health Festival. The team identified problems with optimal utilisation of Mobile Medical Units (MMU) and inappropriate allocation of Mukhyamantri Arogya Kendras (MAK) resources across the East Godavari district. Much to the delight of the organisers, Stasis came up with a predictive model to optimize inventory stocking and appropriate allocation of resources based on disease trends across the district to take proactive actions addressing unusual scenarios.

The Health Festival was organised by the AP government, AP MedTech Zone and Elects Techomedia Pvt. Ltd. The AP Government has been committed to improve the health status and quality of life of the people and the event was organised to focus on health issues by reducing disease burden, creating an enabling environment, influencing direct and indirect health determinants such as nutrition, water, sanitation and other factors like education and employment. The Health Festival also saw participation from Health officials of other States, UNICEF, WHO, World Bank and representatives of other international organisations.
